Old Business: Homework form the last meeting... (Each member of the crew was
given a task to come up with a way to make the tabards show the ranking of the Crew.)
First Mate Juan: No Ranking system yet.... Promotional task for Tree Frog. She
wants to get the charms to sew on sleeves (of the tabard) for what the person does. Tree
Frog will purchase them for each member.
Charms:

Hard Suit --> A Hammer
It will be a permanent part of the Tabard. There is 25 in a pack.
Raithnat: Suggests that on the base of the tabard's arms, get a strip of color for each

Maiku and Fiona: Presented an idea for the ranking system to be on the neck of
the tabard, with a symbol (skull and crossbones) depicting rank.
Captain: Suggests a black sash for swabbies. For Rank ribbon/rope on the arm of the
tabard, depicting rank. He also feels that swabbies becoming crew need to make their own
tabards.

Visitor Vic: States that Wal-mart sells a sewing machine for $1000.00 that
embroiders. Vic volunteers to do the embroidering, and also is willing to help pay for it.
New Business:
Highlands: Captain asks who is all going to be able to attend Highlands. 7 people raise their
hands, Raithnat has possibly 3 people that she wants to bring with her.
Raithnat: Asks for land Steward for the ship, but she refuses to do any shire
stewarding until possibly later. She volunteers for the Land Steward for Estrella.

Captain: Combat Archery is now suspended until the Earl Marshal can come up with a
handbook for it. The only place that Combat Archery will be allowed is Estrella War, and only
this year. We are encouraged to shoot an email to the Society Earl marshal on the main
Website.
Raithnat: Heraldry 101 Class. Not everyone has their shield device, name, etc.
Sometime during June she would like to start a class just for the ship. Raithnat requests that
we email her with our regular days off, also what shifts we work, etc. (M'Lady Caroline
Seitz-West is Raithnat's Deputy.)

M'Lady Caroline West: Asks to bring the Master Gunner on charges, Captain
states that we are giving him the benifit of the doubt to explain why he was not here before
bringing him up on charges. *Betting on what excuse he will use
will be held after meeting*
Raithnat: Voluntarily put herself up on charges, she was in the hospital for a week,
and was not adequately taking care of herself.
